NNSW Adventist Education
Kempsey Adventist School
Nurture, Learning, Character
At Kempsey Adventist School (KAS), we believe that every child is a child of God and needs and deserves individual care. We endeavour to lead our students to know their God, themselves and their place in society. Pastoral care embraces a total caring for each child and influences all teacher/student relationships.
The Bridge
NNSW early learning centres and schools daily act as ‘bridges’, connecting communities to Christ, one heart at a time.
On this page you will find stored stories of impact, of connection and of BRIDGE building. Stories of celebration, stories of overcoming challenge, of embracing opportunity and of developing minds and connecting hearts: these are our stories of what being the BRIDGE looks like.
Early Learning
Kempsey Adventist School
Our KAS KIDS Pre-Kindy is a learning community where children are inspired, nurtured and supported by passionate educators to reach their full potential. We acknowledge that each child is a creation of God, a unique and valued individual, who brings with them a diverse life experience, passion, knowledge and abilities.
Through experimentation, exploration and experiences our young learners develop a love for creativity and expression.
Primary Learning
Kempsey Adventist School
Our passionate educators provide a safe and caring learning environment that values each individual. They provide quality Christian education through explicit instruction, assisting students to develop a deeper knowledge through exploration and problem solving. Literacy and numeracy are viewed as foundations for all, and we strive to provide a flexible curriculum which encourages students to take risks as self-directed learners.
The fundamental skills of creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration overlay our curriculum, equipping our students for the future workplace.
Secondary Learning
Kempsey Adventist School
We believe that education is more than academics – it includes developing the whole person through a program of strong academics, varied extracurricular options, and intentional spiritual and emotional nurturing. It is this kind of education that can change students—and change their world through them.
As a school we encourage each student to achieve success in reaching their personal goals. We see our role as a partnership with parents/carers who are working with us from home to achieve the best outcomes for their child.
